§ 8. Enterprise Funds.

(a)

As used in this Section "enterprise fund" shall mean a fund used solely to support a specified activity or activities of a budgeted agency.

(b)

The city council may, by ordinance, provide for the establishment and maintenance of one or more enterprise funds. Such ordinance shall specify the monies to be deposited in such fund and the activities to be supported by the fund and shall provide for the administration of such funds.

(c)

The City Treasurer shall be the custodian of all enterprise funds and shall be responsible for investing them in same manner as other city funds.

(d)

Expenditures form enterprise funds shall be included in the operating budget of the city and shall be subject to the same controls as other appropriations.
